SHALA LOCATION: Haiku Marketplace, 810 N. Haiku Road. Parking is across the True Value parking lot. Entry is through the covered lanai.

Mysore style yoga is the traditional method in which Ashtanga Yoga is taught and learned.  Mysore is NOT a lead guided class, the schedule is a rolling start where students arrive during the allotted class time, allowing enough time to complete their personal practice before the shala closes.  The students move through their own practices and lessons taught individually to them, while the teacher is present and observing the practice room and provides individual verbal and hands on assists. It is like a private yoga class in a group setting!  Plan to arrive and allow at least a minimum of 45 min to one hour and no more than one hour and a half for your practice. All levels are come, beginners are welcome, come on in or zoom in. The teacher will teach you from the very beginning if you are new to Mysore and/or the Ashtanga Yoga method, this class is a great way to get started in a comfortable environment with other students new as well.

Background:  Christina and/or certified trained yoga teachers are ready to offer yoga for your needs whether you are seeking yoga for clinical, medical, imbalance, need a routine, structure, life changing practice, conditions, injuries or strengthening, balance, coordination, healthier lifestyle. Traditionally, Yoga is taught one on one, creating a care plan between teacher and student. This individual private time allows for your specific needs including pre-existing conditions and questions to be addressed, which is the most effective way to experience the therapeutic benefits of yoga. In a private yoga session, the appropriate postures become like prescription of postures, breath, meditation offered to you to practice at your own ability and pace. Together, we will develop your personal practice to bring growth, enrichment, development and to improve the areas of your life to bring harmony, balance, joy and healing where needed.
